Brad Park

Brad Park (born July 6, 1948 in Toronto, Ontario) is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Along with the Boston Bruins, Park also played for the New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings.

Park was one of the Rangers' best defenseman and drew comparisons with the great Bobby Orr, as both were credited with revolutionizing the "offensive" defenseman. Park's offensive skill, stick handling and pugnacity attracted much attention from fans. Park and Orr occasionally fought each other on ice, and fans and sportswriters fueled the rivalry by making frequent comparisons, not least as the Rangers and Boston Bruins were bitter opponents.

In Boston, Park was a great fit, his offensive skills meshed perfectly with the team's style of play. He enjoyed some his finest individual seasons with the Bruins and brought the club to the Stanley Cup finals in two consecutive seasons, 1977 and 1978, though the team failed to capture the title either time.

In 1988 Park was elected in his first year of eligibility to the Hockey Hall of Fame in his hometown of Toronto.

Recently Brad partnered with the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie to provide fans with the ultimate sports vacation during the NHL hockey season for 2009-2010. Hockey & Golf tours offer fans the chance to watch their favorite team play 2 games vs the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers with loge seating or better. During the 5 or 6 day tour fans will play 4 rounds of golf at PGA Village on 3 different courses. Fans will be joined by NHL Alumni from your favorite team at the games and on the course.

Park has resided in Massachusetts for almost 30 years, with his wife Gerry. He has five children and four grandchildren.
